The biggest nano is the same price as the smallest video

and what do you mean "for the price"

For 2gb you'll pay $150, when for not even double the price, you can get 15 times more memory?

The iPod nano is so commercial, it amazes me that anyone buys it, and everyone does, Apples making a buttload off of them.

For me, I don't need anymore room than 1000 songs. By the time I listen to them, I'm tired of them and just replace them. Nanos are for the people that wants their songs, but don't have a need for all that room!

I prefer the nano, just because it's smaller, and easier to hide during class lessons. But I would like a video. I would watch CSI:NY during math class! xD

BTW, people like small MP3 players. Are we headed toward this?

lol the accessory kit is fantastic XD And watch how big is the bagpack XD

However, I think that if a mp3 player like that existed, it would be more uncomfortable than the big one

For this the Nano is perfect! I never put into it more than 50 songs (mine can hold more than 100 songs)... 'cause I haven't more than 50 favourite songs XD So for me will be useless also the 2giga Nano =P

seriously, why get a $250 8GB nano, when you can spend $150 more and get a 80GB iPod that can play video.

Ipod video. You can keep movies and music incase you're on a long trip somewhere. I was so freaking happy i had my 30 gig when I had to take a 7hour bus ride to San Marcos. The nano is too small and way too easy to lose. The 30 gig is so much better and has better features.

And as long as you turn the brightness really low, the battery will last about 10 hours of video!

I watch my videos on the train when I'm going to private lesson mostly, I can't watch in most of my classes, though because I'm usually moving around a lot

I prefer iPod Video because you can watch movies on it and also it has a lot more storage for more songs.

I have an IPod video, but the battery life sucks so much for it, and the screen is way too small for much enjoyment when watching videos.

Bottom line, Ipods should stick to music :X

Nano. Video's are sort of pointless on iPods anyway, too small of a screen. If you really want video buy a Creative Zen Media, or just use a laptop.

And Flash is always > HDD.

Same Here, i-pod nano is more lighter smaller, and easier to put in my pocket! The I-pod video is 2 big, i wont like holding it around everywhere i go.

And eventually, carrying it around in your pocket would screw up the hdd and you'd have to send it back to Apple. Flash > hdd :)

    Depends.

If you like videos and songs, get an Ipod Video.

If you hardly ever watch videos, Ipod Nano is better.

my nano got confiscated by my parents...

I heard the nano had a problem with the screen being scratched up from cotton fibers in peoples' pockets. People who say that the Video is too big are irrational.

Yeah, but it was happening with the Videos early on as well. The new 2G Nano's don't have that problem anyway (I just got my 8gb nano ($130, thanks eBay :)) Just put a screen protector on it.

and watching the same music videos over and over again does get quite repetitive and boring.. unlike simply listening to songs.
