Hey again guys, someone gave me an iPod as a gift, its a 30 gb video one :D The only problem is, my itunes is quite empty and bare, so if you guys can do me a favor...

Can you suggest some good songs, artists, albums? I don't mind the genre too much, just as long as it sounds good, whether old or new. Umm...cept maybe metal, hard rock and vulgar rap. :)

    Ty everyone...

Try Acceptance, Saosin, Jimmy Eat World, Dinosaur Jr, Explosions in the Sky (instrumental band, INCREDIBLE), Caspian, Death Cab for Cutie, Breaking Benjamin, Blindside, Bedlight for BlueEyes, Armor for Sleep, Anberlin.

I don't really know what you mean by "hard rock." You might consider BB and Saosin hard rock I guess.

Hm... I really like R&B and Hip-Hop, so allow me to suggest you some songs:

    Ray J - One Wish
Diddy ft. Keyshia Cole - Last Night
    Ciara - Like A Boy
    Danity Kane - Show Stopper
    Omarion - Ice Box
    Jay-Z - Lost One
Chris Brown ft. Jay Biz - Poppin'
    Chris Brown - Say Goodbye

See if you like those, if you do, let me know and I'll suggest you some more around the same genre.

Green Day (But only Dookie, Insomnia, possibly American Idiot if you're into pop punk)
Panic! At the Disco- A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
Cobra Starship - While the City Sleeps we Rule the Streets

Those are the top 3 albums that I would bring with me if I had to be stranded on a deserted island so in my opinion they're pretty good.

Who knows, he could define it as hard rock. I could offer him a lot more suggestions if he at least gave the name of a band who's "hard rock," because something I might not consider hard rock might be to him. Music is completely subjective.

I don't know, but I like songs from S.H.E., Fahrenheit, Jay Chou... and lots more. Can't just list out all of them at one go, I hear music everywhere and then that's when I find out I like a particular singer's songs.

I don't like RHCP at all :\ They're pretty generic alternative rock in my opinion.

I forgot to add Paramore in my original bands though, try them out.

I would suggest Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, Evan's Blue, Breaking Benjamin, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, Flyleaf, and Chris Daughtry. They are rock bands, but not hard rock.
