I have a poetry assignment for drama. I am supposed to find a poem written by a some what known poet. Can you help?
Oh, and it needs to be more than 6 lines, but less than 12.

    Anything...
I was thinking about inspirational or a bit sad. You see, we need to perform it, which means feeling and whatnot. So yeah...

Yeah, and the drama teacher said we need to understand it somewhat. I am not really getting the Eagle, and sadly the other one is a bit long.

Well the idea of the poem is that hes trying to express the power and how majestic the eagle is. It compares the eagle to a human by saying "crooked hands" and how its a predator with no prey like humans.

Heres another poemits 12 lines and i know more about this poem also, but wikipedia does a good job of it.

Easily searchable on Google ^^ That's where I completed most of my poetry assignments in my day, since I'm not a poet :(

Do you have to search for one written by a poet? or do you have to write one of your own?
