Family Guy or The Simpsons

though call....um i grew up w/ a little bit w/ family guy until it went out....but now that Family Guy has returned, i prefer that over the simpsons.

 

I think Family Guy, because, yeah, the jokes are stupid but they incite laughter very quickly.

 

i grew up with simpson so ill go with it.
but i havent watched televison in about 2-3 years.
only use it for the consoles.
televison is evil i tell you...evil...

 

Family Guy all the way! I was never a simpsons fan.

 

i just prefer the simpons cause i have been seen it since i have memory ._. even if the last seasons werent so good u_u

 

I like The Simpsons better. I have been watching it for a year now.

I am actually not aloud to watch Family Guy. lol

 

Even though I too grew up with the simpsons, I love the randomness of family guy, and the fact, more than anything that the dirtier jokes in it appeal to my sense of humour more than the family orientated Simpsons.

The one episode that restored some of my faith in the Simpsons was Patty's civil partnership. At least it had some more credibility than other more recent episodes.

Family Guy > The Simpsons for me, because of, yes, the randomness of Family Guy.. I grew up with the Simpsons, since season 2, now they're kind of desperate for fans I guess? The Simpsons are starting to get random too.

 

Simpsons >>>>>> Family Guy, although both are created with different ideas in mind. Simpsons is simply classic, and it actually has a good plot for each episode. Family Guy seems to be more like a Jim Carey script at times, with senseless humor. Don't get me wrong, family guy is funny at times, but overall, I'd rather watch the Simpsons if I had to choose between the two.

 

Simpsons is more like "The Vintage" animated comedy. Family Guy is more of the new-age. Ever since Family Guy came out I have found that The Simpsons has had little to no comedic influence on me, whereas Family Guy it doesn't matter how many times I've seen an episode I still get a chuckle out of some parts.

Final Verdict: Family Guy.

Family Guy is much funnier, but more inappropiate. But it's fine for teenagers, just not 7 year olds =P

The simpsons have been getting worse and worse lately.

 

The like The Simpsons, Family Guy is like the stupid, perverted funny I just like good old laughs with The Simpsons.
