When were you introduced to SCAR?

Hey guys, as you can tell this is my first post here. I never knew there was really a focused neopets cheating community. Well, I'd like to know when this forum was first introduced to SCAR. It interests me because I came from a community that STARTED with SCAR and used it for its first purpose (In other words, playing Runescape). I also know the person that made it (in)formally, Kaitnieks. I'm not going to bore you with any stories about SCAR, because I'm sure it'd be a boring first impression of me, and I'm sure you know enough about it. But, I noticed the SCAR forum before I registered, and saw links pointed to a forum called "MoparIsTheBest". So I'm guessing some of you guys "know" about Runescape and it's cheating ways, but I really wouldn't expect to see any "old school" cheaters on these boards, no offense.

That's all I have to say, things probably weren't worded correctly in some points, go cry, I'm too focused on eating my ice cream .

A few years ago, SCAR scripts don't really work on this PC, so I don't tend to download/create much, until I'm on a better PC.

@Xiaoset, a few years ago? So that must mean you were briefly into Runescape Cheating or did you just come across SCAR?

 

Yea, I can't wait for the new version to come out. Who's working on it? I know Freddy is. I herd a rumor that mad cow, and Ron are too? Is Mopar? Please correct me

For your question, I learn't SCAR when mopar opened his forum!

 

i was introduced last weekend and since then i have made 3 scripts

 

Mad cow? No. Mopar? No. Ron? maybe. I haven't heard anything about Ron doing anything with it. I'm sure he's just a beta testers for versions that are before the final release to fix out bugs and such.

Indeed this was introduced by Deathader, I think he was a "ok" Scar programer, but he has stolen many tutorial for his own "glory", this si why I can't say if he was good or not. Howerver, he still probably was the first who tought using scar on Neopet, in this forum. This was a good idea

For myself I started programing in Scar when I joined this forum, this language is pretty easy to understand, in 1-2 day you can understand it enough to make around anything, exept for sockets, it takes a little more time .

 

I was introduced by this site, and started the newbies guide two days ago. Since then I've been attempting my hand at SCAR scripts but I'm not having much success.
