ok, before i talk about the film, if you are looking to buy the dvd, get yourself down to asda as quick as possible (if you are in the uk) i just brought this movie in asda for £7 which is an absolute bargain (especially as its the double disc version). everywhere else i have seen is £10 to £17. anyway, i watched this last night and must say i was a litte dissapopinted by it. not the usual amount of bond action, and the action that was in it felt somewhat lacking. whatevr happened to the 20 min long car chase/boat chase that woul;d normally appear in them.... also bond seemed to have become more of a romantic in this movie. i dunno, it just felt as though it didnt quite hitthe mark for me. my rating 4 out of 10 (and this is generous, gave it an extra point just for being biased as my brother in law help with the music lol)
Well for casino royale generally there was some dispute over it. Most said it was the new Bond, and I'm also one of those that think it sort of sucked because of him.
yea that and also i thought the movie was waaaaaaaaaay to long. i was in the movie theatre for like 4 hours before it was done
I'm sure he was just being sarcastic Anyway, I agree with you. The new Bond seems to romantically inclined, I paid to see the action, so give me what I want!
no i was dead serious. i dunno why but when i watched it it was like 4 hours long (with previews). i went into the movies at around 2pm and came out at around 6  no sarcasm in that
Uggg, this movie was soooo boring! I almost walked out of the theater. There is no way I'm going to buy it... it just didn't seem like a bond film...
I just watched Casino Royale today and...call me crazy...but I actually really liked it >.> It showed a more "action hero" side of Bond than "tech geek," while still keeping his high level of intelligence and wit present. And it re-defined some classic Bond lines and moments. Edit- And the movie is 2 hours and 20 mins long. For the record.
Yea I kinda agree with you, even though I still think it was OK cause I really like 007 films, though I kinda missed that Bond factor that was in Pierce Brosnan or in Sean Connery.
I still havn't seen it I don't see the point when i've seen all the stunts on TV ^^ fendi_future - please don't gravedig - Marlene
I thought it was great. The problem is, most people didn't understand it. It was a remake of the FIRST BOND. This movie shows how Bond became a big name 007.
