come on folks, in the world of football/soccer who really wants to support a premier club just for the sake of lining their pockets with bank notes.
don't you think it is ridiculous the amounts some of these clubs and players get???
I for one will NEVER buy a premiership football shirt / merchandise.
I feel that the lower clubs in the lower leagues are the teams that really need our support.
Me, I am a gillingham fan, even thoughi have lived in scotland for the last 4 years. I may not getto any of the games, but when I am in the area, i try to buy a scarf, sticker or something.
is the lower leagues that filter in the new players and talent, so surely they should be getting better funding.
any ideas on how the lower leagues could be better funded?
any ideas on how to get F.A money to flter through better?

Well the lower leagues couldn't start rich, so they won't end with all the wins. Most of the richer leagues just start buying over players and making good teams, and its a lot of money involved. So having to improve the worse teams would mean getting thousands of people to donate to them, and even so it'll take time. How long do you think you will take to get hundreds of millions just for a single football club?

Yeah it's a difficult situation! As soon as a lower division team start performing well the prem buys up all their players! Coke are doing a promotion to raise money for your clubs transfer fun but again the teams at the top have the most supporters so I'm not sure how sucessful that will be!

This is the main reason I support FC united. Football is a game NOT a business. Its meant to be fun, the players at FC play for absolutely nothing yet they turn out 2-3 tims a week + matches AND work a full time job and care for families.

That is what football should be like. Players WANTING to play for the team. Instead of playing for the ££/$$.

But then wouldn't they play their absolute best as they have an insentive ok 100k a week? They could be playing at their peak in fear of losing their 3million a year contract. Ami rite?

Listen we all know that Liverpool are the best team. The only mistake they've made in the last 5 years is getting rid of Michael Owen :(. Although now they have the great aussie striker Harry Kewell
