A 112-year-old man in Somalia has married a 17-year-old girl in a wedding that hundreds attended. Her new husband is old enough to be her great great grand-father and already has 13 children by five other wives.

There is no way that man is 112! But he's still old and it makes it gross. To think he wants more children with her. You can't even have kids when you're 112? Oo

And how can he want to have children with her?!

1) He's old enough to be her great-grandfather (or great-great grandfather, perhaps).
2) There is a high chance that the child won't be healthy
3) How can he promise to be by her side for the rest of her life, since this is what marriage is about?! D:

 

Well, maybe (just a thought):
she's hoping he'll die before they can have children, and he'll leave her enough money to support her for the rest of her life.
or she feels bad for him, being so old and such, so she agreeded to marry him out of pity.
or they really love each other. Crazy stuff happens all the time ^_^

imo that's just wrong. I doubt that man is 112 though, but he has 114 children?
I have nothing against them, but morally, I presonally think it's not right.

Yeah, but then he would have to have been with VERY many women. And sperm is not the same when you're 112 as when you're 18 oO

As in, the sperms will not healthy. It's not safe for him to try to have kids; not safe as in, the kid may be born retarded, or have other healthy problems.
