    Are we going to all die on December 21, 2012?

    The Mayans predicted that the world would end on that day.

    I don't know myself, but on that day, I'm gonna just sit outside and watch the sky :D.

    Anyways. The Mayans didn't predict that was the end of the world; that was simply the end of the last of the 5 golden cycles at the end of their calendar. (Quoting one of my irl friends, "For such an advanced civilization, why didn't they think to just turn their calendar around?")

    You might call me a doubter, but I really don't believe in these things. I mean, I see no scientific reason building up that this might happen. For these things, you can never get me to believe in until it happens...:lol:

    Well, lets look at our options.
    1. I don't believe it. I live happily without any worries. When it doesn't happen I can laugh at the people who thought it would. If it does, I die, just like everyone else.

    2. I believe it. I get stressed over it and allow it to affect my life. I might lose hope in everything or panic as it approaches. If it doesn't happen everyone knows I'm wrong and it's all been a waste. If it does happen, I still die, and no one will even know I was right, because we're all dead.

    Hm, which to choose...

    I've actually always found prophecy-type things fascinating. So if it come true, I'd go all HOLY ONGZ! and be a bit giddy.

    If it did happen, I'd have only experienced complete freedom for two years. D:

    the Mayans? hmm... I don't believe their prophecies. Their human rituals just make me skeptical. So no, I don't think we will die on that day.

    Seriously, this is just a joke to scare all of us and make us do everything we want before we "die", which means $profits$.
