99% of the rich neopians out there cheat, or have cheated to gain the majority of their wealth. This is not an assumption, but a straight fact.

    That is all.

    Too true.
And everyone selling 12+ morphing potions is a cheat.
And everyone with a score of over 300 on Extreme Potato Counter is a cheat.

You can't really say it's a fact unless you have examined each and every one of them. A good guess would be about 75%

First of all - LOL. Throwing out a random percentage and claiming that's any better than what anyone else has to say = hilarious.

Secondly - just as anyone who has ever lifted weights naturally can tell you that there's about a 100% chance Bill Goldberg used steroids even though they weren't present at each and every one of his workouts and meals, anyone who has tried restocking legitimately, semi-legit, and completely illegit for a while knows the difference. That's called experience. And it trumps BS all day long.

Well, not only do I happen to agree with americanpie for once, but imagine what the basis for 75% was.... do I hear.... nothing? Completely random? Coo-coo-ca-choo? Yeah, 3 out of every 4 people cheat.... that sounds about right.... not that I want to cast aspersions on his very scientific estimate. o_O

We just have a different opinion of what's funny, Freja, because that does make me laugh. It would have been funny if it had been the topic starter. That he knocked someone else's statement before making that one = really funny.

Ya I'd agree with that. Anyone who rses and puls in mills/day most likely cheats- maybe not abs, but auto-fill, adblock, greasemonkey, etc.

99% of those who seriously play stocks are legit. Maybe not that high, but definitely the vast majority. Most who are serious stock investors (read: Ports are 100k stocks+) are old and don't do ANYTHING to risk their account. Users like stepchild9, hydrogen, dgcass, etc. Trust me ;) Anyways, you won't become superrich via stocks. 1m-3m a month, maybe will be most people's max.

Games...no one gets rich solely off games. With 3 sends per game, you could make what, 50k in an hour or two? And that'd be basically your max for the day. If you really, really worked, you could probably make up to 100k, but no more, by spending a few hours playing games. 100k a day = 3m a month if you play games rigorously and tediously for three to five hours everyday. The richest players don't get rich via games.

If you want to get rich without cheating ad without having to RS, it's going to take alot of time and work. In addition to playing stocks, playing some games for nps when you need them, and playing food club (provided you have an old account), you'll need to invest in retired items, invest in items which will inflate, own a mall shop (ties in with the inflation thing), auction/wiz snipe, resell HTS, etc. Basically things which will sap alot of your time.

Too right about most of what you said.... I'll play games anyway because it all adds up, but you were spot-on about the time invested and return.
I've tried that freakin food club. It blows. XD Every time, some underdog wins and hoses me.
You might have mentioned Round Table Poker. For someone who knows how to play the game, it's a very quick 20k+.
The thing about investing in inflating items is raising the capital to do it in the first place. Then you spend months and months (and months) playing games, stocks, selling codestones, collecting interest, and finally think - "I can buy one Meowclops?" XD

P.S. It isn't hard to accumulate 100k stocks... but your estimate on even 1 to 3 mil monthly profit is too high. In order to be renewable income, you can't sell more than 1000 stocks/day (because that's all you can buy per day). 1 mil / 30 days = 33,333 and if you're buying stocks at 15, that means you'd need to turn an average 18k profit per 1000 stocks per day every single day, and that doesn't happen. What happens is most of them take a dive and stay low, a few flutter back and forth from 12 to 25, and every now and again you get one that climbs higher, which you end up selling too early because you're dying to finally turn a decent profit.

Poker 20k is negligible on this scale xD. And stick with Food Club! You'll likely lose more than you win, but only lose 8:1 most times. As long as your account is old enough and you have enough capital, you'll make much more than you gamble in the long run. Ever had a 128:1 payout? It's pretty sweet, when you're gambling 40k total. :D Of course that's only around 500k, but still a pretty lovely profit from a 30 second bet :)

And yes, investing items= tedious and requires capital. And yep, you're going to have to wait more than months- at the very least a year or more for an impressive enough profit to sell. But the idea is that you can do essentially nothing or minimal crap and still take in profits.

Also, stocks? Looks like you've just had some terrible luck, mate! Or you need to diversify more! And from the sounds of it, you DEFINITELY need to raise your sell points! :) Anyways, a month = 450k stocks, if you buy every day (TBH I don't usually go on Neo everyday, but I always buy when I do! I probably spend around 400k, give or take, on average on stocks). And I'd reckon I sell probably 60k-300k every week or two or so, so...anywhere from -40k to 200k profit every week or two? Not bad considering you're not doing anything. BTW TAG is my lover right now. SWOON. :) On another note the recent influx of high prices has stopped my port's growth -_-. I'm a long term investor (been shamefully playing a decade now), so I cringe whenever I have to sell haha.

That said, I'm still not really sure whether I have a self-sustaining port, as I'm just blowing loads on bd training and have no idea how much I've spent versus taken in :'(. But I don't really think it matters, unless you're unable to make 200k-300k by other means over a month's period? If you have a sell point of 60, it's near impossible to go a month without making at LEAST 100k if you have enough invested (probably 30k-50k shares?). And you can make 30k a day in twenty minutes playing games, or easily derive your stock-purchasing capital from the previously mentioned sources.

And richy, hydrogen of Neo is not the same as the hydrogen you're referring to :) No one who's been on the cheating scene for a long enough time to have their name known would ever even faintly associate their cheating alias with their neo account(s). More common sense and such than anything. ^.^
