    How do I find sponsors?

    For boxing?

This guy I train with is really talented and could use some. he's going pro.

advertise in newspaper. just write his record and that hes a pro fighter looking for new sponsors.... and also before he enters the ring tell him to tell the announcer to say that hes looking for sponsors if anyones interested... and if he wins then people will be interested... visiting companies and up and coming businesses is also a good idea.....
i train muay thai (thai boxing) and i know of a few people that have done this... good luck

    Thanks

    But, he's amaeture right now..

The kid has been training for 8 months and he's very very good, he's very gifted for sure..

Still same tactic for an ameature? I guess it could work but it would be more of local store sponsors than big companies at the moment.. right?

yeh for amatures its a bit harder... im amature too.. he need to have more fights and more wins... but make sure he only fights if hes ready with enough training... no point in going into a fight just for the hell of it...
i guess u could find small sponsors but its rare.... to be good enough for real sponsors, u need to be devoted to the sport... so training full time and fighting every chance u get... hes only been training 8 months.. he still has alot to learn and a long future ahead of him...
tell him to give himself a bit more time.... also a good way to get sponsors is to win the public... its good to have showmanship... if the public likes u then sponsors will want to sponsor u... even if he is an amature...

he's been in a lot of fights already, but I see what you are saying..

I'll talk to our trainer and him about it and see what they're going to do

    thanks so much!
