I started playing five months ago, before which I had never heard of Neopets before. It didn't take me long to pick up how the game worked though and believe it or not, I was a legitimate Neopian millionaire before my mystical "four months" was even up. It also didn't take me long to figure out that people were cheating somehow. Items disappeared from shops TOO quickly, certain game scores were TOO high, and as an old-time cheater at everything myself, I knew something was up. I didn't know what, but I knew.

So I started Googling neopets cheats to find out exactly what was up and I sure enough DID find out. I found a free REAL autobuyer download (!) and decided to use it very cautiously. I also downloaded a program to keep refreshing Neopets pages for me but again - very carefully. I figured it was far better to take it slow and fly beneath their radar than risk getting frozen. So my refresh program moved slower than any you're likely to see anyone suggest here and I'd either refresh shops manually and use my autobuyer just to buy, or I'd set my ABer at a really slow rate - 10 second refresh - knowing it wouldn't get that much stuff, but on the flip side it's bound by the law of averages to hit something. In addition to that, I restocked from low-profile shops... nothing worth 1 million+ there. 100,000 np max per item usually. Low & slow profit, low-to-no risk. The way I did it, I could restock for four hours straight sometimes. I'd get the occassional RS ban, but other than that, no worries.

Two days ago, for the first time, I set my ABer to a 7 second refresh rate and used it in the Magic shop for a little over an hour. According to a lot of players here, 7 seconds is cautious let alone 10. Well, my account was frozen today. Reason: This account was using an autobuyer to buy items from shops. Moral of the story? Well, I don't think you need me to spell it out for you.

Saving grace? My two side accounts weren't frozen(?). I never used them to cheat or transferred them any expensive items, so maybe that's why. My only question now is whether or not Neopets has a "flagged" list and they watch past offenders more carefully, or if it's all good in the hood.[/b]

tnt ices people after weekends, ab on fri, sat, sun, then send items to different account and self ice. a week or so later, get you self iced account back by emailing tnt saying someone got into your acc and self froze it. 90% of the time this will get you acc back, and you can just keep repeating on weekends

To self freeze you use something called the self freeze link which is .com/remacct.phtml

By doing this you do not freeze your account as TNT do, as in you can never access it again, but by doing this instead, you can email TNT if for some reason to change your mind and you will probably get the account back without issue.

Yep remember to take some vital information of your account before you self-freeze such as birthday, the name you sign up with, email address used, neofriends, stock, pet name, pet stats, how much you have in bank, some items equiped, some items in sdb, guild.

You have to tell them a lot for them to believe that account is your.
Also, lately TNT been filtering out some junk mail. So make sure you address it properly and write with punctuation. If first time no reply, keep trying and you will get your acct back.

I got frozen for "spamming"... whatever that means. Anyway, I don't think is me. I left for dinner, and came back and I was frozen.
If it was, it was for saying my age, which I could easily convince them wasn't mean. You see, I just said I was in 7th grade...

Just FYI, emailing the staff members directly by using their "name" @ neopets address doesn't usually get a reply anymore.

I've tried mailing staff members my friends have said were helpful and not one has ever answered. But everyone says they used to.

You can try it, but use the contact form right on the site as well and just hope you get someone patient. If not, try again and in all liklihood, it will go to another staffer.
