Here's my question. If I AB one MP or something from the magic shop. Will my chance of getting iced just as big? Or is it only if you buy more than one? I remember on my old account I ABed one MP and another one at night {Was very noob ~.~} I sold them, but got iced the next day. I didn't dare touch the magic shop again. But now, is it true that you can't even AB one with the heavy security of the shop?
Most people get frozen very quick but there are some people that got MP and never got caught. I think it may also be what AB program you have and what the your configuration is. I hear that its best to AB on weekends at night as TNT isn't on.
I wouldn't do it. I havn't heard of people ABing there and not getting frozen. There is alot of security on that shop, so bad idea =3 unless you don't care much for your account of course
Wrong, each shop has the same "security". If you knew how it worked and how the shops got the items in it's shops ect. you would know that each shop does the same exact thing, with the same exact code to do it but with different items. Anyway, the only reason people get iced fast after abing in magic is because they are dumb and set their configuration to refresh something like every 2-3 seconds. Set it to 12-15 seconds, ab on weekends and nights only and you will be fine.
I used to, before I got IP banned a while, I haven't been able to play since. But I used to AB for no more than an hour in magic, between the hours of 11-12 -8GMT (or whatever it is) never got iced. Just don't ever go on the boards and brag about what you "restocked" thats what will get you iced because it draws attention to your account and TNT does a background check.
i got an MP and not getting iced ... i always used AB in saturday (friday night NST) until monday morning (sunday night), when the staff is off ..
You and 90% of other abers do that. Just because tnt is not there, doesn't mean you will not be iced.
I also want to add that, NEVER put your MP or UBs on trade right away after your RS. The heat is ON! lol... just let it sit in your SDB for awhile
If you have a good ABer (which you'll need) and have spare time during weekend, that's the better way to not get frozen. It will be harder with an old/bad ABer. I've never been able to get something at the magic shop =/
I'd suggest buying a 3 month account, then ab on the weekends, at night (refresh 3-10) then, sunday night/early monday morning, send all of your items to a spare (doesn't matter what the account age is) but don't accept them. Wait a couple days to see if the account you ABed on is iced, if it is, go and accept the items you sent to your spare, if it isn't, I'd suggest accepting on the spare, then just let them sit in your sdb for another couple days. You should be fine after this.
I assure you Pankirk, that it is much less safe to AB in magic than in any other shop. While it may be true that the coding isn't different, the actual freeze rate there is enormous. There are other ways of making a shop higher "security" than others without changing the underlying code. Moo, I would stay away from Magic shop if you're just doing some light to middleweight ABing. Its just not worth it. I've gotten several, previously legit, 7 year accounts frozen for doing that (and I didn't even buy anything).
