A proxy is like *speaking in other terms* this box that receives your outgoing commands. If you say go to http://www.google.com your computer sends a message to that proxy, the proxy goes to google, and then sends back the information from that web page. The proxy has an IP of its own so that neopets can't detect your IP and freeze all of your accounts by doing an IP search. proxy a proxy is when you route your computer through someone elses internet from another place, you then get a new IP, its not as slow as routing it as if i understand correctly it is just a cloak and proxies can be detected and removed, so always goo with proxies with elite status because neopets are sure to filter them.
I dunno, sounds sketchy. Because what if someone else uses the same proxy and they get chain iced on it. & you'd need a really strong proxy because most proxies these days are very transparent and it's easy to see your real ip address. But again, a strong proxy would slow down your connection massively. If you have a dynamic ip address I suggest you just change it every time.
i cant figure out how to get it, and i also dont get how it works. do you need to get a different one every time?

why would it matter if tnt knew your ip address or not...for all they know, it could be a public place or something...
but the point is, they wouldn't know...and it would be more trouble than it's worth for them to try to find out...
