It seems as though nobody wants to sell accounts or even make them for NP unless they are overpaid. I've never seen the account market so quiet probably because TNT is really cracking down on shit. :back:

Why do you think the account market is so quiet?

On another forum I go to, their economy is slightly different, but sales are still going down massively.

The problem there is access to another program making it really easy to make NPs, and people are starting to use safer lists. Safer lists=less freezing, which leads to less of a demand.

That, and on sites like these, we tend to go through periods throughout the year where theres a high demand for accounts (like a new plot, for example) and dry periods, like now.

Beginning of December I saw tons of people requesting activated 1week accounts, and sales were huge. Small profit, but enough.

It's so cool, we created our own economy, lol. Cheater-based economy off Neopets. Right now, the market is very, very quiet, but I hope that will change because I'm in need for some. Nobody's will to make any.

That's the downside to good programs and people who know how to use them.

On the one side, you're using the programs and making amazing profits off of them without getting frozen.

On the other hand, so are other people, and they don't need new accounts since theirs are still in tact.

lightning, I can see if I can get my hands on some accounts xD

I'm just hoping these forums (NF and others) get more waves of people who don't understand the meaning of 'review times' and 'safe buys' xD

Because THAT is when sales start to boom.

Sorry, I would sell to you guys, my 3/4 monther account inventory is out for now. My stock will take another couple months before reaching 3/4 months =/

On the other hand, I'm selling aged accounts (Over 1 year) in my Blackmarket thread (see link in my sig for details)

Oh, all I need is just a huge bundle of Newbie accounts that won't get frozen. I don't even have anymore NP because my main got iced. I haven't checked it, and now it's gone. So I can't even buy accounts, lol. Fail. *Goes to post in "I've Been Iced" thread*

Still, I get that, but it's the IP that got me iced. I created like 40 accounts on a proxy and they all got the cold treatment.

Hmm, on another site I attended, before the owner chickened out and shut it down, the account business was pretty slow too.
Most people make it waaaay too obvious when dealing with it. Like, having all the neopoints traded at once, and a few people I've seen who have purchased accounts don't use proxies or anything to conceal their IP address.
    :nope:

But, the profits from the seller are usually handsome.
Well, in my experiences, they were.

Ehh, it seems like it goes back and forth a lot.

I think I'll have to stock up on newbie accounts ._.

But, as you said members are getting smarter, so is TNT. They are getting better filters and what not. They are beginning to recognize lists, RS ban more, dish out the cold treatment more. They are becoming less and less tolerant of cheaters or "look-like" cheaters now. It's like TNT is stalking us now.

It's in the blackmarket section; once you reach level one, you will be able to see it and learn more about it.
