I found a GM script on userscripts.org It's a double or nothing autoplayer, and it looks like it works pretty well But it's got a standard refresh rate - 1 second or whatever you put it at. I've modded it for myself to have a random time, and I want to share it! Can I share this script as long as I give credit to the original writer and explicitly state that I only put in four little lines?
yes, as long as you say the script isn't yours besides a couple of mods. But obviously not on like the downloads section, there is a page full of useful GM scripts people have found neopets-cheating-f80/useful-neopets-greasemonkey-scripts-t18253.html
It kinda doesn't belong on that page since he's edited it somewhat. From MY understanding of the rules, if you were to post it that would be fine. I don't think you're allowed to submit it to the downloads section, but if you posted it on say level 1 or level 3 chat, including the fact that you downloaded it there, authors name (if available) and then included that you modified it somewhat, then I think that's allowed. Whether or not the initial author is happy that you modified it or not remains unknown
