Max out to level 60 first. Seriously, it does make a difference.

Make sure you're carrying the max of every potion still available. (You can restock at that one faerie who gives you a rest for free.)

Also, quit using an autoplayer. It won't kill you to do this one thing legitly (although feel free to use an autotrainer until you max out all your chars), as you'll need to judge when to use potions etc (sacrificing more damage for healing your own characters, etc. is a decision you have to weigh yourself, and if your characters are down to red [which is when most autoplayers/autotrainers start healing] it's probably too late unless you're about to kill Terask anyways).

And, um, Terask or Terask II? There's no reason for you to be having that much trouble against Terask.

do you have your innate abilities maxed?

i had an easy time at level 57, just kept him slowed using potions, kept my party hasted, and used a lot of those damage potions for mipsy and velm (when velm didn't have to heal)

I have to use slow and damage pots, which i had not used before..

New question right now: Same tactics for evil and insane mode?

For evil, yes. For Insane, no.

(Sidenote: You weren't using slow or damage potions against Terask II originally? ;-;)

Anyways, for insane do Meridell using this guide, and do Terror Mountain using this one.

It's been a long time since I've played, but the skills you choose are important for the characters as well. Keep your buffs up, and most importantly, keep your health within a safe range. In Insane mode you aren't afforded the ability to take it easy.

Evil mode is really easy, it's just like Normal again except that you know how to play. Just overlevel with autotrainers and you'll be absolutely fine. XD

Max level is 60, I'm saying that overlevel for all the rest of the game and you can do the entire thing using autoplayers (except for the end of Faerieland, of course) when playing on Evil mode.

On InSaNe play it by hand (/monitor your autotrainer really closely) at least until you're done with Meridell, Terror Mountain is short so you may as well do that too. If you overlevel massively you can start just letting autotrainers/autoplayers take over for Lost Desert and Haunted Woods (one tip - at the end of Haunted Woods, those slimes in Esophagor's swamp are really really good exp [and way easier exp than you'll get starting in Faerieland], so I usually leave the GM NQII Trainer running until I'm at a way higher level than I need to be [either until they're getting 10 or no exp per kill, or I get bored, whichever comes sooner] to make Faerieland easier), but in InSaNe do not do Faerieland using autoplayers.
