What are yall's thoughts on the movie Borat, and the TV show the Ali G Show? I think they're funny, but I like the TV show more. It's not AS racist, cruel, etc =/
I'm not a big fan of what's his face. Sasha Cohen? I thought Ali G was kinda lame. Like 'oh you're homosexual'..like who cares? That gets old real fast. And Borat? Isn't he just a more shocking Balky from Perfect Strangers? Some stuff is funny but only because of the reactions of the people he's trying to make fun of not because of the actor himself.
Everyone I know says Borat is the bomb. But I have also heard is extremly preverted. Well I just cant wait to see it.
I love Borat. Hello jagshemash. Uhm I heard something about he killed off the Borat character or something. So he can't make any more movies about him. I was also :O when I found out the dude is like British.
He first had the Ali G show in England, but when enough people found out that he was an actor, he brought his show to America. And he still was only able to have two seasons of it, because all the famous people would know who he was. And if you ever watched the Ali G show, you might notice a slight English accent, and he does make several references to him living in England.
^.^ Borat was a character from the Ali G show now he's done that I think he's making a film about Bruno the gay fashion reporter. And in real life he has the strongest British accent Ever!
I love Borat! He is the most brilliant character ever. :lol: Ali G however is boring... I like some parts of Ali G, but most of the stuff is lame. One thing I don't like about SBC though is that he refuses to do commentaries on the DVD's anymore. I think that is ridiculous, nothing would be spoiled if he did. When I was watching his commentaries for his HBO show I thought they were almost as entertaining as the episodes themselves (the Borat bits).
I like the tv show the best, the borat character there is much more real (found the movie to be staged)
The borat film was hilarious, the first time, after a week of everyone going "Yurkshen madch" it got slightly annoying and lost the comedic value. Still a very funny film though, kudos to Sasha Baron Cohen for inventing 2 great funny characters.
the movie was good...... i know a lot of jewish people so we joke around about it alot.... but i like the movie alot .. i havent really seen the show
