Keep in mind that it might not necessarily be who the most players join, but a combination of that and the average player contribution. Which is why I'm calling a finish of 4th or worse for Krawk Island . Too many bandwagon noobs.

 

yeah, i think that might kill KI, but... I'm still sticking with them, weather they win or loose

Krawk Island this year knowing I can focus more on the game. Still not a fan if the altador cup and I still do think people who sit in front of there computer and play this day in and day out and are the top players must have no life XD

 

Krawk Island, ftw. JOIN JOIN JOIN. the more people join and actually play, the better.

 

I'm a complete noob to the Altador cup, so just some questions. How much can you make off of it? Any trophies/other rewards? And you just have to play games, right?

 

I joined Krawk Island, because Iwas a Krawk last year and want to be one again, I won't be playing as much because of the freezings which satrtewd on Sewptember but I will play.

 

Darigan Citadel... the poll answers above a great indication of why KI is doomed to failure. Plus I'm just ultra goth so it fits in well with my overall personality.

 

How is that any indication as to how we will do?

If you get the BIG prizes and save/invest in them, you can make A LOT. xD You get a trophy for either participating or being in the top three teams. And yes, all you have to do it play games.

Decided to join Kreludor, just as last year.

 

too many n00bs on the bad wagon hoping for a gold trophy that won't acually play... remember, scores are calculated by how many people play and the total score... so like, if DC had 100 people play, and they scored 100 goals, but if KI had 200 people play, and they score 120 goals, DC would still win. Thats not exactly hoe they do it (as its un known to the full extent) but we know its something like that...

 

Crap! So all we have to do then is join a team that nobody else will and no-life the games and we'll win =D! Bleh, too bad that wouldn't be possible. That's true though, I hope people actually play =[

 

It shows that KI is way too popular. While presumably everybody here on NF will play, and play hard, most of the people who don't play (or simply think 5-10 games in the entire cup is a lot) follow the teams with the most momentum. And right now, that's Krawk Island.

Look what happened to Haunted Woods (ACI winners) in the ACII, and look what happened to Darigan Citadel (ACII winners) in the ACIII.

So history dictates that we can expect Krawk Island (even though they didn't win) and Roo Island to drop down some, and Darigan Citadel to make a comeback.

 

That's what I was thinking, but once again, this has nothing to do with poll results. For all they know, the 'x' number of people who join KI may score 14 points on every game, 132 games a day. Sorry, I just think you can't assume things like that. :maha:

 

TNT will probably have some sort of algorithm designed to balance things out. Hopefully.

 

Whats the latest cutoff point to join anyway?

I'm not 100% percent sure, but I think you can join like all throughout the cup. Don't hold me to this though. XD
