url filter is something you can put on to block acses to a web page often used by schools.
That should explain it in brief

used either one of these sites...
    Code (Text):
    1. .nyud.net:8090
    2. .redirect.keljob.com
just put it after the .com/.net/.org etc. example...
    Code (Text):
    1. http://www.somewebsite.com.nyud.net:8090
    2. http://www.somewebsite.com.redirect.keljob.com
and for say a website with url http ://w ww.somewebsite.com/something...
    Code (Text):
    1. http://www.somewebsite.com.nyud.net:8090/something
    2. http://www.somewebsite.com.redirect.keljob.com/something
I find .redirect.keljob.com to be faster than nyud.net:8090 but they can both be a bit slow...

THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR SITES REQUIRING COOKIES!!!...

as for using command prompt...it only works if the website's ip address isn't filtered...
that's because some places only filter urls and not ips...my school does both :?
