well its not the matter if they had the tech to do that. Just think back in that time period the night sky was clear as day. If it were to emit some sparkle of light it could possibly be seen. Nowadays we have too many things going on that the night sky is not as visible as it once was. Thats just my conclusion tho.
i am not sure... i think it could be to high tech for them to see tht far as previously stated.. didnt they think the world was flat then?? :/
Ya, well I don't know. I guess there were some really intelligent civilizations back then...such as the Atlantians...if they ever existed...
Or they just confused the planet for a star or a moon? What I don't get is why they would put our moon on the tablet, but not any other moons. I think they got the whole thing wrong.
Not many people in the past actually thought that the Earth was flat. It is pretty much just a myth. Nobody was really afraid that they were going to fall off the edge of the Earth XD There are places on the Earth where you can pretty much still the sky like it was seen back then, (most notably Death Valley). Also, if they were to take Space photos like they do (using 35 mm shutter cameras) then I'm sure we would be able to see it if it existed.
The Mayans were extremely, almost eerily, good at predicting things. You know they predicted that Columbus and his men would come in boats with white sails? Well, not so specific, but they got the date right. And people think the world will end in 2012 because thats when the Mayan Calender ends
