Rather than digging up threads that haven't been used for months, I decided to start a new one. So Any Brawlers? if So, competitive brawler? Favorite character?
Roy, Metaknight, Kirby, Marth and Pikachu... I'm awesome with those character's sadly don't have any online access at this point. you are talking about SSMB right? :lol:
I like Roy and Metaknight, they are my favourites. I've only played once though, at my friend's house xD

that list doesn't reflect on how the player uses the character. some people believe that the "top tier list" is bs. I on the other hand agree to some extent but as an avid player i would pick and probably do better with more of the other characters then the top tier group.
Yeah Im typically not a tier queer either, but saying a character is bad is a generalization that shouldn't be made... except for Pichu... HE was bad. Also the list is best described as a ranking system as for the current metagame, and as it evolves, the list will change (I am DETERMINED to make sonic at LEAST Mid-Tier by the time I'm done with him ) and it is no reason to play or avoid a specific character.
well im not implying that any character were useless its just that depending from one person to another. Sonic is a somewhat unique style and type of fighter and is unpredictable he has some good offense but a lower defense than most characters. i use sonic allot and he is now one of my top choices when playing. I also never used kirby until Melee came out then i tried him and he is my number one starter.
I tried so hard to be decent with kirby in Melee, but I just couldn't, it was just impossible for =/ Though Marth became a big one for me, same with Falco and G&W
I'm a Brawler. My favorite characters are Sonic, Captain Olimar, and Snake. But if I can choose after my opponent, I use a counter to them
When I play with friends, I just end up playing around with Ness and mess them up with him. Since they never play against him seriously and when it get down to the wire, I can just out play them, no matter who they use. Skill > the Over Powered characters... But then again that is how all games should be.... ~Parisdirt
I didn't know about the tier stuff until my friend showed it to me on YouTube. It completely changed the way I view Super Smash Bros now...
I've been playing competetively since Melee tournies started and have been half-ignoring tiers even then. While it is sometimes worth a reference, we need to consider that some people are just more skilled, not that the character is just better
I'm not a competitive Brawler. I play with friends and my boyfriend, but I don't necessarily like to go online and play. Just the fact that i'm not all that great. I really loved the adventure mode for Brawl though, and I made ridiculous stages and stuff But yeah..I think my favorite character can be arguable to be pokemon trainer {I only ever use squirtle though} Then hmm..pikachu? He's a classic The new ones are okay. They're not my favorite though. Then again I haven't played for awhile so even iof there was one I really liked I wouldn't remember.
I get to play SSBB every so often; My brother hogs the Wii with his Guitar Hero junk D: Anyway;; I'm sorta competitive. Favorite Character to use is Lucario;; I don't know why, but I'm good with him. I also use Toon Link.
