Well I have this assignment that says i need to know all the political, social and economic status of the uk these last 5 weeks. But I totally forgot to check BBC news xD. Can you perhaps tell me what the news highlights were in the UK during those 5 weeks. I'm going to get an exam for it, next week. And I don't want to fail. All the news has to be related to a political, social or economic issue in the United Kingdom. I read something about mister Brown , that he's ill or something like that? I think that's defiantly going to be an exam question. So if you know something about it please tell me Help me and I would totally love you <3
I would go through their website; http://news.bbc.co.uk/, there must be some news , at least the most important ones
/BNP rally's (British National Party) /Woolworths went bust /swine flu vaccine available now at tesco for £8. /Gorden brown loses troops in latest voting, leading to BNP rising. /Postal strikes across Britain for better living conditions. Loads more if needed
I thought Woolworths going bust was in December 2008? Anyways, um, there was the MP's Expenses thing recently. The ministers started backing the anti slavery law. Erm, i'm not aware of anything else D; Sorreh.
They did ? Do you know which parties, or some what more about this. I reckon it would also be in the exam. Or if you could find me an article about it, that would be fine as well .
Basically, Nick Griffith, leader of the BNP party, was invited onto the popular radio program 'Question Time'. People didn't want him to appear as they thought he was going to put forward racsist ideas, as the BNP party only let white people join them, and believe that only british people should live in the UK. That's all I know really :/ Do some searching on the BBC about it. There'll be like 29078453705 articles ;D
