    My card started to die out on me and it was well within the warranty period.So I ve sent it to xfx(my card manufacturer)to repair it.
    My question is,does anybody here have such experience of your graphics card and if so how it took for your card to get repaired and reach you at full working condition.
    My card->8800gt 512 mb vram...

    NVIDIA G84 & G86 graphic chipsets have been notorious for overheating.
    Once you get your card back, be sure to monitor temp. levels of your CPU/GPU. High temperatures lead to degradation of computer parts.

    But yeah. Repair + Delivery is all based on the manufacturer. The fact that the card is part of an older line might slow the entire process up a bit. Just be patient. If it were me, I would buy a new card (you can get an HD4670 for ~$65).

    Yeah my temperatures were really high..When the card broke i was sure that it was because of the temperature issue...
    This is mainly because i live in a place where ambient temperature is really high!
    Thank you for your reply and can you give a tentative date by which the card should arrive?
    Other than the overheating part my card was excellent...so i'll wait out till my card arrives.

    I can't really give you an estimate. But you have to add in shipping time (to the manufacturer and back). Just be ready in case it takes a bit more time. You can probably get a better answer if you called their customer service
