1) It made vampires look like sissies 2) It's meant to be a vampire movie but there's way more love talk than action or fangs 3) My girlfriend loves it and thus drags me to see the installments in the cinema which is just embaressing... 4) Every girl under 25 that likes Twilight loves that freakishly white guy who totally looks like he plays Neopets too much and gets no time to go outside and enjoy the sun.
I actually love it, i've read the books and thought they were amazing, definitely prefer them to the films but the films are kinda ok too imo.
the only good actor in that movie are the guys who play that vampire council people jamie campbell bower and the other guy who plays lucien in underworld
Lolz, I was just on youtube and it was something about Twilight, as always I expected some funny 1 liners in the comments, and was not disappointed. Most thumbed up comment said: "Awww look at them all pretending they're real actors".
Nah, I kinda didn't have high expectations for it before I saw it, but I think people are bashing it too much. It was a DECENT movie, it isn't the worst one in history like people are making it
QFT - you pwned us with your board. I admit it, this is the greatest post about Twilight that I've read here. Here is your (symbolical, of course) prize: and my post feels like an understatement
I don't know if I should say this but.... I <3 Twilight. And by that I mean the books. I am a huge fan of the books, but once the movies started to come out I was completely disappointed. The actors are horrible, Edward was supposed to be WAY hotter, and they leave out too many important details/rush through the story.
I actually haven't even considered going to see any of them... Being a Buffy fan, Twilight just seems like it is ruining the reputation of vampires everywhere. And I agree Heather, the actors suck. I havent read the books though, and I can see how they might be better.
Ugh Twilight XD I never liked it, not because it's ridiculously popular but WTF? the author got the story from a lame dream and got MILLIONS... wish life was easy like that.
Usually, I read the books before the movies. In this case, I watched the movie with my granddaughter and I really did like the movie okay. So, I got her the books - and I read them. I find the story to be really good - but the writing is not that great. It's written almost like it's by a gradeschooler. I mean - how many times can you say - He's Beautiful. The author uses the same phrases over and over - uses the same terms to describe stuff over and over. Honestly, it's not well written at all - and it's a good thing the story is as good as it is.
God, I completely agree on that, I have read the first and went back to my HP books XD I really like JK's style better.
