I'm like a Suzie Homemaker, but only because I want to be. I mean, my curtains match, my house is dust free, and my kitchen is my favorite place to be!! Anyhow. It's been very recently that I've tried cooking something NOT from a box, and I must say, it's working out VERY well. I seem to have a knack for cooking, and it's no surprise to my friends, considering my cake decorating ability and adoration of fine cuisine! I'd only ever worked with beef until recently. Ground beef. Then I tried steaks. And it took me a couple of times, but FINALLY, I made it excellent. I moved up to chicken, mainly BBQ baked. ^_^ And tonight, I had company over to play the World of Warcraft (TCG) and celebrate the new Expansion. Pork Tenderloins, baked and seasoned with herbs. And I got it all right on the first try! I'm so proud! Does anyone else around here love cooking as much as me??
Ahh yeah, I enjoy cooking. I detest cleaning and washing and the such, but I like cooking. Not sure why there is a feminine stigmata attached to it. From biscuits to a red wine curry, I enjoy it all.
Cooking... did someone say cooking?? Pork Tenderloin is amazing.. Congrats on your first try!!! I'll give you another idea to try in the future... it's almost foolproof My Chicken Milano is to die for... and it didn't come from someone else's receipe either. Try this next time sora... it takes no time to prepare This is good for a nice "intimate" dinner. You'll need: 2 Chicken Breasts 1 cup white cooking wine 2 fresh garlic cloves 3 tbsp virgin olive oil 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 to 1 cup olives (pitted) flour to bread the chicken Directions: Squash the garlic cloves and finely chop. Slice fresh mushrooms Slice the chicken into bite sized pieces Heat the olive oil and slightly cook the garlic making sure not to brown. Add lightly breaded chicken pieces and cooking until they are done... but do not brown. (watch your heat)(this takes less than 10 minutes) Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until they soften, then add the white wine and olives and continue simmering until the liguid starts to thicken slightly. (it's done) Serve with steamed asparagus or brocolli and warm bread Total time about 20 minutes Smirnoff: That's why God invented dishwashers
I've never started cooking until now. Lately I've enjoyed making things like curry and Japanese noodle soup. I'm in college right now, so my technique isn't well developed, but I at least know what I'm doing in the kitchen! I like to watch Paula and Giada on Foodnetwork. Their stuff is so simple and tasty!
Just for the record. I enjoy cooking on solemn occasions. I am not a die hard fanatic of cooking Just thought I would clear that up
I've been really lazy all my life when it came to cooking, and for the two months I've been in college, I've lived off ramens and my good old pal Chef Boyardee, but recently, I've been cooking much more, and I really enjoy it. I might even make it my profession, oooh~ Cooking shows are the best thing ever, though, always loved them so much. <3
I like to cook, especially since I bought a crock pot, its not fancy but its great to make roasts and home made spagetti sauce in
Yum, very much agreed! Well...I've actually never used ours, but my mom makes delicious food with it. And the meat that comes out of it is always SO tender. Now I'm hungry...*3*
The only cooking show I ever liked was Iron Chef. And that was because the Chinese Chef was actually funny
I'd like to cook if I didn't suck at it. I burn everything I try to cook, so I let other people do it for me. Much easier.
I like to cook occasionally, because the food is better! ;D I'm lazy though, and I like instant gratification.. that's why the microwave is my best friend. I don't really recognize any other kitchen appliance or utensil. The only time I really cook is if I'm have guests over for dinner.
i love cooking! i love to bake cakes MY speciallty cake is BETTY CROOKER!!! its soooooo..... good! lol
I've learnt to cook since starting uni, my 'students guide to vegetarian cooking' is my bible, and my Mushroom Stroganoff is to die for hehe! My mum has her own business making cakes, I however, suck at making desserts. Anyone got a simple one I can have a go at?
Simplest dessert I know is a Chocolate Fondue I haven't met anyone that doesn't love this as a dessert. If you don't know how... it doesn't matter... it's very simple to make.
NOBODY in my city does this sort of thing. No LAN parties, nothing of the sort. Why, oh why, am I stuck in Louisiana?
Since we don't have a lot of food in the house usually, if I get hungry I have to find what's around and use my imagination to cook something up, and generally it comes out quite well and I enjoy it
Cooking is very interesting espesially since it evokes creativity... unfortunately i need more patience to improve my cooking
