AP test scores came in today for me. I made a 3 on AP Government, which is up from the 0 I made in AP US History (I BSed that whole test). So, if you took an AP test, what did you make and what did you think of the test? If you didn't, what are some AP classes you've had/are thinking of taking?
US Gov't, Macro Econ, Physics Mech, Physics E&M....5 English Lit...4 D:<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< damn...I really wanted a 5 on eng lit T____T
Congrats, pando. And either I'm too young or my school district is too retarded to offer AP classes to Freshman, so that's one worry I have yet to deal with. Next, year, though, I'll be taking the AP US History/World Literature block class. (No other APs available to Sophomores, unless they were special like my boyfriend and took Algebra I in 6th grade...he's taking AP Calc BC, too.)
bleh you all make me feel so retardedxD i got a 2 on my world history exam lol i didnt even pass it as a whole xD im kinda worried about us history next year and english comp and calc ab lol ill probably get like 1's on all of those tests xD EDIT: Lol i didn't notice this until now but this was my 500th post!! woot woozlez half a century!!!!
calc bc is easy ->about 60% of the people get 5s and english is just hard i bsed the whole test and passed
phys C mechanics, phys C E/M, chemistry, calc bc, stat all 5s 4 on world history (not bad considering I was asleep during class all year :zzz but omfg 3 on english lang? D:
high five zer0 yay for us sucking at eng UC Berkeley got rejected from all the privates...other than duke
Heh, took US Gov't and got a 2... Of course, I only took it to get out of the final and didn't study (I never do...). Also, doesn't help that the AP teacher didn't actually teach, we just watched the videos and discussed current events in that class... Only, like, 4 kids in the class even took the test because they knew they were gonna fail, haha.
-hi5- I didn't think that I failed THAT badly though D: I did alright in class and the teacher was one of the best English teachers I've ever had... hrm.... Cool (well not the rejection part :arf I'm visiting Berkeley later this summer (~Aug 20)
I'm something like a year late to post here, but I got a 5 on my APgov exam. And then proceeded to not get the units for it once I was in college, because I fail miserably at paperwork and extra stuff like that... I'm not sure how you manage to take more than two AP classes without succumbing to despair at having a full load of homework right up to the time you have to collapse every night. Anybody have an answer for that one?
Ap Physics B: 5 Ap Chemistry: 5 Ap Statistics: 5 .... Ap European history...1. Our class was world history, not Euro history. Our teacher put too much emphasis on Russia because she was russian, and the class wasn't even AP, we all just wrote it for fun. everyone but one person walked out after half an hour.
All of these 5's are very intimidating. I should step up my game next year. AP calc. T__T Good thing I'm good at math.
D: I just graduated from Duke this past May...way to not come here. We could have TOTALLY BEEN FRIENDS LOLOLOLOL. (Although I guess I'm just as much to blame for rejecting Berkeley ) Um...I dont remember some of my APs, but here goes my best guesses: Stat, BC Calc, Phys E&M, Phys B, Eng Lit: 5 US Hist: 4 Comparative Government: 3 European Hist: 2 I think that should be right...I may have gotten a 4 on one of the physics E&M parts...
buttttt... berkeley owns at engineering =P duke's seems more liberal artsy + biomed are you staying at duke for grad school? D:<<<< where is your inner asian!? but yeah...english is a hard subject to teach well it's a fun class though since you can just BS your way through with pretty words and all you ever do is talk and talk watch out for the hobos >____<;; there are a lot of them cause the area around the school isn't very nice  campus is alright though =P
Yeah, Duke's overall engineering is pretty good, but not amazing. I did BME/EE though, so it was a very solid program. Not staying at Duke for graduate school, going to UPenn. What're you doing at Berkeley?
