I've been trying to get the sloth avvie on my main for 10 months now. I just made a new side about 3 days ago and I get the avatar. I am so POed right now. Why do new accounts always get all the luck?!
its all random o.o in my first i main i didnt get the "must keep smiling" avatar never, then got frozen in my new accounts i ALWAYS get it the first day o.o
I keep getting Random Events on this account. I only have it to keep a Grarrl in case any kind soul would lend me BGC. If I get a FFQ I'm running headfirst into a wall.
I'm trying to hurry and get some really good avatars on this account so I can taunt people on the AC, it's gonna be fun.
I just got the wheel of excitement one on my new account the other day. It peeved me a bit as well since I spun that stupid wheel probably thousands of times on my old account and never got anything good. But oh well, at least you got it now.
Took me six years to get a FFQ. Finally got it and the avatar and -poof- frozen. I do agree that it sucks when newbie accounts get really great random events; however, thanks to the miracle that is the shop wiz it's really not that bad. ^^
I don't think new accounts get more random events. At least not it my experience. It's maybe because newer players are just refreshing more? This is particualrly true if you often use your new accounts for ABing - you're bound to be refreshing more then.
I hear if you donate to the money tree more often, you are more susceptible to getting random events. I have yet to test that theory though.
This statement is False. I donate to the Money Tree a minimum of three times a day and I get maybe three to four random events in a weeks time. I'm normally online, on Neopets, three to six hours a day. All of that time spent restocking, playing games and chatting on the NeoBoards. Plenty of Page Refreshes. Very few random events.

Here's a list of the last ten items I've donated to the Money Tree today. * Rockfish * Bri Codestone * Petpet Laboratory Map Piece * Golden Shoyru Plushie * Cheese * Spooky Trick or Treat Bag * Invisible Paint Brush * Red Kougra Plushie * Mossy Rock (x2) * Blandfish (x3) -blink- And today I've gotten two random events (not including one faerie quest). The first was that stupid Red Pteri RE and the second was a Vo Codestone.
