Attach files with .java extension

I tried attaching a file with a .java extension into a PM and I got:

Could we remove this restriction? I sometimes need to PM code to people and if I have a lot of files, its easier to attach them. Java files are source code only, so they pose very little threat in itself.

you'd need an admin to change that
though I guess you could turn it into a zip/rar file

but yeah, why can't .java files be attached? you can't do anything with them alone...
