AU won't let me pay staright out paypal money?

It says I have to add a credit or debit card in order to get it?
I'm paying with the money I've earned onto pay pal though.

you can spend without attaching a credit card/bank account afaik.

Why do I have to add a card? I just want to pay with my earned money on paypal.

^ Nope. I created a US-based account and my spending limit is $0. Then I created a non-US one and my spending limit is $1600. Both do not have credit cards / bank accounts attached to them.

I am allowed to send money for the latter, but only up to $1600 (meaning a TOTAL of $1600... after that, I have to switch accounts o.o). I can't use the gift option on this one, so I've to pay fees.

For the former, although I technically can use the gift option, my spending limit is $0, so that's as good as nothing. Not sure if people are facing the same problem as me.

 

So I have to create another account that is not from the US?

But wouldn't that still have the same problem as trying to pay straight to AU? Unless I'm getting your problem confused.. you can't send money "out" right? And if that's the case.. that hurdle would still be there

First you'd actually have to find out if it's possible to do that, and then figure out which one would be willing to help you, so it depends.

ohyea, i'm not from the US, and my spending limit is around that much sorry for the misinformation.

 

So now I'm stuck with the money on that account untill I somehow get a bank/card on it.... Augh!

Well! Looking on the bright side, the money's still yours. I'm just going to have to wait another two/three years to get a card. When I do, I'll be able to 'free' the money in there. ^^
