Not exactly a computer wiz, and this isn't the first time I've come across this problem.
After downloading a program, whenever I use it, the message "You are not authorized to use this program." pops up.

I downloaded it straight from this site, didn't get it from someone else. It's not an old program no longer working(I think). Also heard that it could be protection blocking it. I allowed access to it through my Windows Firewall & McAfee Security system, but still no luck.

    Any ideas?

Would you mind sharing which program? This will help the programmers know if it's theirs, so they can help you easier :maha:

And I see that you have some capital letters in your name...
My programs are case sensitive so that might be the reason why.

& tharoux, the program is one of your's; Power Feeder V1.1.

I did double and triple check with the caps, and still no luck.

This is most likely caused by a firewall or something. I checked the logs and the server doesn't have any record of you trying to authorize the program.

Checking again, my Windows Firewall is off and McAfee has granted access through the firewall to the program. No other firewalls on my computer(unless I'm missing one obvious?)

Do you have a router ??
If Ricky can't see anything in the log, the request is not beeing sent.
Thus, something is still blocking somewhere.

Yes, I recently got a router from netgear for my computer. I'm looking through my programs but don't see anything for it. Can I not use it? (Again, computer illiterate o_O)

I really doubt the router is blocking the connection but there's a firewall in there too.
Do you have any other programs from NF.NET that are working ?

Well I'd unplug the router if I didn't need it for connection to my laptop. =/
& this is the very first program I have purchased.
