I know how amazing many people think ABers are, and I can see where they're coming from; but the problem is that my internet is totally pathetic and my ABer takes on average 5 seconds to buy an item, which is slower than legit restocking for most people [...] I've never used a score sender before, and was wondering how they compare to ABers in terms of profit, freeze rate, etc It would be great if you guys could give me some insight and maybe past experiences with both :tehe:
Score Senders CAN be good... However, they look a tad sus due to alot of people using the same scores / times. Even variable times and scores look sus after a while. And for it to be profitable you either have to leave it running for ages... Or cut the times down, which means you risk looking illegit. so really, profit wise an AB'er is better. There are many items you can get with a slow connection. Medicine being one shop.. Igloo another. I personally prefer to AB - I find the profit vs. effort and time better And with slow times, less chance of being noticed. However... I have been iced for using a Ab'er.. never got a Score Sender
Books and stamps were good for me before I switched to ADSL (crap speed), I was averaging ~300k-400k a day, but since I switched, I've gotten one main shop buy for a whole week, and a few small igloo buys. It should also be noted that after a year of ABing for ~2.5 hours a day, I've never been frozen; just lucky, or is this normal? How would SSers compare to this? Pharmacy might actually be a good idea for now, I'll give that a try; thanks Junior
Well might be okay unless you score mega rare stamps or other rare items Like I did... It's nice to score items that are really expensive.. but when there's no others for sale or its worth THAT much.. it draws attention. that's my problem.. I keep getting really good items The Pharmacy is really good for newbie accounts especially... Soaps + Eggs restock quite often in a good number. Even with a slow connection may be able to nab two. Also book shop is good if you can manage to nab one of those gourmet cook books They're an easy 100k these days and low rarity and stock in bulk If you've been RS'n for 2.5yrs no problems you're doing something right Good job. Just don't get greedy and you should be fine!
^ Pssh, Junior :K To think you were all worried about being unable to get any UB's when you first started using AU. Ahaha XD Well, legit/illegit-looking aside, I think AB'ers are better than SS'ers because it's not that taxing on your CPU. From what I heard, SS'ers take up a lot of space when running? Haha well idk, 'cause I've never used one before, but I read something like that somewhere. So I think AB'ers would be better And also, I think there are more legit restockers than there are legit hardcore gamers (who send in tons of scores everyday). So in a way you're going to be 'safer', because it's harder to look suspicious with an AB'er (if you use the right settings). And if you're worried about getting huge items, just avoid the huge item shops (e.g. Stamp and M. Foods). Or just take those items off your list :arf: Like Junior said, yeah, as long as you don't get greedy, you'll be fine
I have used both and i prefer Abing. I take the big items off my list just to be safe. Go to shops that restock good items in bulk and you'll do fine with 5 sec buy time.
ABing is much safer because you can set realistic settings and for intents and purposes, look like a real person. SSing, on the other hand-no one plays 100 games a day, 3 times per game, for hours straight. SSing used to be much safer, but about a year ago TNT started cracking down and SSing for high profit purposes is extremely high freeze now.
Ahh finally someone who uses SS Light, how many hours a day do you SS for, and on average how much profit? Thanks
