Autobuyer - What do people most want in terms of features?

I want everyone's input into this - what features are most wanted in an Autobuyer?

I'm trying to gather data to see what I can change/improve/add on Edge AB and thinking of new ideas.

What do people most want? I'll tell you if I've already got that on Edge, but all comments are welcome!

 

A user shop autobuyer to run in pauses or by itself?

 

Yeah that could be a nice feature, not sure how it could be integrated, as well as the current Igloo autobuyer. I'll give it a think over and see what I can do with it!

 

I'll probably be adding in a daily doer, spiderer etc in the next major update.

 

A list, if you will

• 
  (some of these might seem fairly obvious)
• Pause after between __ and __ amount of refreshes for between __ and __ seconds(very random)
• Spider
• Dailies (even though they can sorta been done via a spider)
• Tabs (makes everything organized )
• A new, faster OCR? (theres a tough one!)
• Multi-account
• Proxy support (that works with diff proxy for each account.

Thanks for the suggestions, I currently have the first feature and proxy support for the account. Not sure how I will do Multi-Account due to a lot of coding already done and not sure if it'll make the autobuying process slower. As for spider and dailies, they'll be done! And Edge is organized , faster OCR - I could possible make it a little faster, although this could decrease the rate of success for autobuying, as well as increasing the risk of autobuying.

 

You could make a checkoff box like so: "-Faster buy rates, higher freeze rate?" so if someone is ABing with a useless shell, they can get more, and if it's a more valuable account, they don't check it off?

 

Yeah that's a possibility but to be honest the ONR function will not make too much of a difference for speeds, not enough to make a significant impact.

 

safety is what everyone wants! maybe add the cookie import/export function if you havent already?

I don't want to make the program overloaded with features, I want to try and keep it clean, simple and stable. The main features I am thinking of adding are:

• Autopricer
• Refresher/Spiderer - Runs when on a long pause
• Dailies Doer - Will do the dailies, and then won't attempt it again.

At the moment the main features that Edge has are:

• Main Shop Autobuyer
• Igloo Autobuyer
• Item Lookup
• Autobuying Lists Creator
• Live Chat for Neofriends

 

the ability to restock in more than one shop at a time

 

Ok, now please bear in mind that my knowledge of anything programme related is... limited, to say the least...

BUT.

Is there anyway an autobuyer could have the function to buy an item from the Hidden Tower and put it in trades? When I have enough NP on a side account, I usually buy a HT item, stick it in trades and then buy it from another account for a stupid price (for eg. if it's a Baby PB, I buy it for 59,000 as it sort of looks like you could have just missed out a '0'), then hold it on that account for a week, then put it up in trades again, and buy it with my main.

It's a huge pain when you keep having to login, logout, change IP, etc. If the AB could buy the item and put it into trades, it would save you having to login through a browser each time to transfer through the TP

 

I don't think it would benefit enough people in the long run, to be added to the program.

You're far too important! But to have it added to the program, it'll have to benefit the majority of the members.

Just saw a suggestion by Fex. How plausible would it be to add this into the 'daily doer' part of an autobuyer?

 

Hmm I'd like to keep is to an automated autobuyer really, instead of an all-in-one. The daily doer and spiderer are good for less risk of freezing, I think the auto-stock buyer is just a tad too much
