I am wondering what 8 weapons, with healers, freezers and bombs, would be nearly impossible to lose with? If you don't mind, Id like to start off with my own suggestions for a great set for leagues 5-8: Pirate Captains Cutlass Sword of Skardsen Kelpbeards Trident Glittery Faerie Dust Faerie Tabard Ghostkershield Pirate Captains Hat Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic But, thats just my own opinion. Please reply and help me figure this out!
League 24: I-staff/WoDF and Ice Dice :$ The match will simply go on until someone forgets to use the multi-%-healer, or until someone freezes for multiple consecutive rounds. Pretty much.
lol will... lets be realistic here... hahaha not everyone's got an istaff and/or wodf. ice dice, maybe, but i was thinking more strategic war weapons, i guess i should've said that in the opening post.. haha
Well it doesn't always come down to which weapons. I usually stay around league 5-6 as it's faster to train and whatnot. Strategy plays a big part in it. But my personal set usually consists of: Glowing Cauldron Ring of the Lost Sword of Skardsen Ghostkerbomb Faerie Tabard Downsize! Healer Open My last slot I usually leave open for the situation. Many things like species come in to play. I battle allot of Pteris so I hardly have PCC I've been using a Kelpbeards trident recently but sometimes I throw a GFD in there for kicks.
lol like i said before, we should be a little more realistic, if anything, 2-3 members on this site will beable to afford (or already have) a set like that. I used my example just to keep the budget down a bit, cause i certainly dont have 1b nps just kicking around in my sdb. haha
Well for under 75m the set I suggested is gonna be able to make you rock most leagues. And if you have around 100m you can swap out D! for a Tear or just add the Tear and you'll be a force to be reckoned with. Unless you're working with 100s of mills most people sets are gonna look alike once you hit 50-100m
Ring of the Lost Grapes of Wrath Leaded Elemental Vial Downsize! Ghostkerbomb H4000 Helmet or any other 100% freezer (species or non-species) Ghostkershield Kelpbeards Trident <3
this was probably the best set mentioned under the budget its basic, and everyone would have the same or better, but its how you use the set and this set allows you the best strategic opportunities switching the ssyt for an rss would improve it, but thats also a 30 mil upgrade and for no freeze replace the fpot with a pch, pch is especially good for the amount of gows/peas u see now, if ur at the right level
Dual PCC gets cut in half if you're battling a Pteri (which most people use now days for that exact reason) which would leave you basically just running GC and one PCC in that set. If your opponent got first click and had a F-Tab (most people carry it for KBT) you're looking at half of your icons being taken out while they still have another constant to use. You'd be better off adding a GFD to the set and replacing a PCC so it will at least keep them guessing and make them think, giving you a chance to get first click with GC.
a lot of people have actually switched off pteris and gone for scorchios ive always used gfd in my set though as its impossible to accurately block, pure luck, confuses the opponent if they are trying to play defensively
What leagues are you referring to though? I know for leagues 4-6 there is an abundance of Pteris. I don't see much of a strategical advantage of being a scorchio since there is a lack of high powered fire weapons.
scorchio is for a late freeze build among those leagues and higher, which a lot of people tend to be doing since we are limited to 8 items i always preferred the dual pcc + gfd combo, although normally id carry around 20 items in my set, and have them all interchangeable depending on who id be battling
currently I have a cheap set.. tell me how I can improve: yb x2 hpot leaf shield ppot thick smoke bomb greater healing scroll LOL it works for now.. I'm too cheap to upgrade
Whats your budget look like? First things first. Get rid of the smoke bomb and get a downsize! you're wasting your money on it.
