n64 used to be my pick but now im thinkin of gettin a gamecube or nintendo wii ps3 or xbox any good with friends?? im talkin when there are guys and girls chillin, not just the guys
The wii is most defiantly fun with a group of friends, guys and girls is best to make teams with. Of course if your friends are lazy then it's not a good idea XD
I would say Wii or Gamecube espically if there will be girls, but if not a 360 is really cool and you can have amazing LAN parties with highschoolers.... lol
yea i got a ps2 myself and only bought a few games for it, i mainly played socom online. ps2 is definately pretty cheap and i remember playin it with friends yearrrrrs ago. gamecube has like mario party and mariokart and all those types of games, but wii is definately good too.
If you're just playing with one other person, I would go with xbox 360 or ps3. They have a lot a great range of fun games. But if there's 3 or more players, wii is the winner. Yeah, it does get old, but only if you have a limited amount of games. But the wii does offer a lot of fun party games, such as ssb brawl, mario party 8, wario ware: smooth moves, rayman raging rabbits, mario kart...yeah, the list goes on. And it's always fun watching your Grand pa trying to catch a fish in Zelda!
I would say get a Wii! Get everyone up and active, it's way more fun, and can lead to some very silly times There's nothing like a good game of the Wii when it's 5am and you're winding down from a night out lol At any time of the day really. The guys that I hang about with are always playing on it, and it's good fun. Not too demanding attention wise for a group situation, still leaving time to just chill and have a laugh. I find it waaaaay more amusing than any others. They don't really interest me the same. But I suppose it's not a serious gaming console. If you're looking for something like that then I can't really help...
hehe yea I've never played that game, but I know there are loads of good games for the Wii. And they're a very reasonable price in comparison to other console games. That's always something to consider when you're buying a console. You may think you're getting a good deal, but then it could be £45 a game!! :/
the wii is the best game system for just hanging out! I find with PS3s....people get SOO into the game that they don't even talk!
Only if you're into the the whole online competitive gaming scene. But for chilling with friends (especially if your friends are non gamers), the Wii has it hands down. All the non gamers will love the whole motion sensor system and think its the coolest thing.
Yeh games like mario kart on the n64 or double dash on the gamecube could be a laugh for both guys and girls. For just guys, you cant beat Pro Evolution Soccer
We mostly have those age-old games from the 80s bought from second hand shops etc. The tetris with it's ugly joypad is our favorite :maha: Our next choice would be plaing dance pad games with two pads. It doesn't look as stupid when two people dance in sync
Asides from the new Generation consoles, then I agree with Muro. Old Nostalgic games are THE best to play while just chillen. I have my old Sega Genesis (Which I plan on bringing to college with me) and i have like 40 some games for it. Hell yeah I'm going to have fun =D
