Two of the newer search engines on the web!

Bing is a very nice search engine and personally I like it a lot. It sort of appears to be a development from MSN to Windows Live to Bing. It is very neat because it has a new background image each day with little facts on the page. The video part is also very good because you can preview the movies by hovering your mouse over them and be sure it's the video you want! Looks like a very good search engine, which is surprising for the shit company that microsoft is unless you fork out hundreds.

Wolfram Alpha is a bit different too, more of a statistical search engine. Sort of like askjeeves. You can also ask tons of silly questions and whatnot. Things like "How many licks to the center of a tootsiepop" and "what do you hate?". This one is a very fun one to mess around with, not as much use. But it is very useful if needbe.

http://blindsearch.fejus.com/ is a great website comparing searches from bing, yahoo, and google. It's amazing because if you search neofriends, we come up 1, 2, and 3. So kind of interesting to see which one lists us first and which one third.

Overall, I'm still a google fan. Can't say I was ever much of a yahoo fan, but I'm liking this new bing a lot!

I didn't add wolfram alpha to the poll because it's more of an answer solver compared to a search engine.

What do you guys think? =o

I still use Google for general purpose stuff. Wolfram|Alpha is only really useful for computing math stuff.

Yeah, I want a search engine that simply shows me results as fast as possible and as relevant as can be expected. I don't want to have to wait for a page to load just so that I can visit the real page. BOTH Yahoo! and Bing have page load time problems. Yahoo! just seems to get worse and worse, although I have noticed Bing actually loads pretty fast considering all the crap that is added to my screen. Really, I just want the links that will lead me to what I want. I can search on youtube if I want to see vids, and Google has a quick search engine for images, as well.

    It's all Google for me!
