I have the att tilt and right now i'm on my 3rd one because my other two broke. According to my warranty two broken phones isn't enough to let me exchange it for a different phone so i need a way to break this tilt while still keeping my warranty :) any ideas?

Sit on it. Or say some key, lets say your "D" key, gets stuck at random times. Options two always works for me. It's how I sell cell phones. x) I use it for about a year, get bored, then call up my home boys at customer service. "Yeah, the number 3 gets stuck sometimes and won't click." - "Okay sir, we'll send another refurbished one within three business days." Then I sell it on ebay. It's a 'like new' one. x)

lol that's a briliant idea xD but i don't want a replacement do you think that would work so i could get an iphone xD that's what i'm trying to do cuz i'm tired of having to replace this phone xD i mean i'm willing to pay the $99 so it would be like i'm renewing my contract but my warranty/contract or whatever doesn't let me get the discount price until a third phone is broken xD

Eh, I thought you meant within a certain amount of replacements, your contract would let you switch phones. With my contract, they only let me switch phones every year. Verizon won't even let you downgrade if your phone breaks. You have to renew your contract to get a new phone, or pay full retail. Which is like $34983 for a flip phone.

...If you're looking to get an iPhone without renewing your contract... :| Your best bet is to do one of those "Timmy needs a kidney" things on myspace. "Timmy's kidney is failing and since he can't get a kidney, he wants the next best thing - an iPhone. Help timmy's dream come true and buy his dad's tilt for $700! contact at timmywantsanewiphone@gmail.com".

lol no after three broken phones they let you switch to a new phone, in my case the iphone, and pay the price you would pay if you were renewing you're contract( or atleast that's what i gathered from talking to the lady at the device support center) and i told them today that i was willing to pay the $99 for an iphone 3g not even the 3gs but she was like since this is your third tilt we can only do like for like but after that you can begin to negotiate a new phone...

Well then I guess my idea of the "sometimes glitchy D button" will work! ^_^ Good luck with the new phone.
