Is it safe? Im hoping to buy a full battledome set
using money, but... what are the odds of being frozen?
and i dont plan on buying the full set all at once,
like 1 item every 2-3 weeks or so... I dont want to
pay people money, and then lose my account, right?

If you do things safely (and one every 2-3 weeks is pretty safe), you should be fine. I bought a gbomb a few weeks ago and I'm fine. :p

Keep in mind BD sets get expensive quick. x_x

you should be fine as long as all the weapons dont come to you at once. it would be weird to have a whole bd set offered on pieces of junk trades...

just be smart about it... space out the items and you should be fine... i bought items with usd on other sites and spread them out it took me a whole month to get my set. and i didnt get frozen for it.

No problemo. Always glad to help.
And I was just saying higher-end BD sets are pricey - PCC/SoS(x2)=11-15mil(22-30), 100% freezer=8mil(?), Healer=drastically varies depending upon pet, gbomb=7mil.
whole set can run around 45mil and thats $225. That's a large hunk of change.

i make close to $5000 a month, im a care-aid in the hospital
here in bc. we have amazing health care. heh and the set im
looking towards will come close to 75m so im looking at close
to $450 right? over a period of time, its all good. how often
do you see a pcc for sale? i think that will be the most expensive
item i buy, then a sos and gfd, those will be the big ones...

It would probably be easier to buy neopoints, and then on the battledome boards buy the items with nps. Although this is bad if your account is very weak and will draw attention.

Also, be sure to buy through trusted people with somewhat high iTraders if you plan on purchasing large ammounts of neopoints, as large ammounts of nps for sale legitly is rare. And if you get a lot of illegit neopoints from all over the place, you most likely will be iced rather fast.

So yeah just make sure the nps you are getting is legit, or at least safe....20m of just abed or ssed nps will probably be a quick freeze.

You won't find many people actively selling these items, but what you can do is make topics when you're ready to start buying an item. Just post a thread saying "[ B ] Gbomb with USD" or something along those lines and someone should find you. If that doesn't work, you can always look for people selling large amounts of pure. Just ask them to buy whatever item for you and most will happily do so.

Use a middle man, too. Good points, Cackle. ;)

this is so efficient, im loving this. but to buy neopoints...
that would just seem so risky, if i have the patience, should
I just wait untill the actual item that id like to purchase
appears, and use paypal? just seems unsafe to buy neopoints.
althought i may be missing the point of asking the person
to buy the item and pay in usd... lol

I never have been a fan of buying huge amounts of neopoints then buying your own big item. I'd rather the seller buy the item for me. This might be because it's less mess for me to deal with, but oh well. I guess you get a personal preference after a while. To me, I guess the reason I ask the seller to buy the item is that I don't have to go through all the mess of haggling with someone on the TP, bidding on an auction, waiting for it to end... Ya know?

i know exactly what you mean, i hate waiting around, being tugged left and right,
being given hope that this'll all be over soon. haha ya, it licks. i like your way of
things of the person doesn't already have the weapon.

Find the transferring guide and use it, you should be fine if you do that. Like everyone has said so far, space it out and be smart about it. ^ ^

Either way, remember not to over do it. Don't get all the items too soon and call attention to yourself. If you do, getting frozen would suck. ~$450 down the drain because you were impatient. I always get frozen when I get greedy. Oh, and use a middle man for big trades. :p
    good luck.

    EDIT: 700th post. :D
here is the link to the transfering guide

Basically a trusted person that will handle the transaction for you.
    So:
    - You send over the money to the MM
    - The person you're trading with sends over the item(s)/NP to the MM
    - Once the MM receives the goods and payment from both parties, he/she will ferry over the goods and money to the recipients

This is to ensure that you won't be scammed.
Only Level Vs, Moderators, or Admins can act as a MM for you.

Also, when making a large transaction, make sure you do it over the week-end.
