Okay, Ive been having problems with some programs of mine, and found out i need to replace my winhttp.dll Well my probelm is, I downloaded winhttp.dll and tried to copy+paste it into my system32 folder, and it asks whether or not i want to replace my existing one, and I click yes. Then this pops up - I click confirm then this pops up - And no matter how many times I click try again it comes right back, so it wont replace it. I have tried turning of every possible thing that could use http, like msn, utorrent etc. Anyone have any suggestions? I am on windows vista home basic 32bit Please help meh =/ Ill +rep for sure. Oh and please dont yell at me for posting this in the spam section o.o the program help section is kind of....slow :yup:
Right click on the folder or file you want to work with. Go to Properties then the Security tab Then, with SYSTEM highlighted click on Advanced Then go to the Owner tab Then click Edit Select the group or person you want to give ownership to. Then click ok. This should give you full ownership, and should also allow you to select "Full Control" from the list of options. Hope this helps
