I got in one 2 weeks ago and it wasn't exactly an "amazing" experience. I was on my way to school and when I was turning unto the turn lane, a car merged right on top of me. Now my car is stuck at the car repair place (I forgot the name of it) for another week (it's been in there for a week and a half already) because it turns out that they have to order in a totally new bumper for me. And unfortunately for me, the closest dealership is located about 3 hours away, so it's going to take a while for them to order & receive the bumper. Oh and the cherry on top? Somehow I got blamed for the accident, which I think is completely ridiculous. Mainly for the reason that it was their side of the car that was damaged and the front, right part of my car. But enough with my ranting, has anyone else gotten in a car wreck before?
That sucks. Never been in one myself. But a few people around here now how i feel about car accidents. Believe me, you got off easy.
Yeah, luckily my car wreck wasn't too serious. When my mom got in a car wreck last year, her suv flipped 5 times and my mom was ejected out, even though she was wearing her seat belt. She was going down a road where the speed limit was 45 mph and she was driving straight. A drunk driver decided it would be a brilliant idea to turn, running a red light, and going almost 60 mph. My mom was in the hospital for a week and came back home all bruised and cut up. Somehow, she didn't break a bone, but she still gets sore every now and then.
