Some "cartoons" are targeted at a more mature audience. South Park isn't for children. Children can't fully appreciate the satire in shows like the Simpsons

I don't watch any current kid's cartoons, but I watch a lot of the more mature ones...and old cartoons from when I was really young. Just for nostalgia purposes. I think it's perfectly fine to watch whatever you want, though. :yup:

I don't think cartoons are only for chilren. Or at least I wouldn't understand it if they were.
I've seen one made out of a novel for adults only once, so I think watching cartoons is ok for all ages =D

We play neopets for crying out loud : D just kidding.
I still watch simpsons, family guy etc. even though I know that's not the kind of cartoon you meant : D but yeah, I still watch the childish ones sometimes just for laughs ^^

    Helllllllz yeah.

Anyways, a lot of the humour and satire is not fit for kids... you need a mature (adult) mind to truly understand what they are saying. Hell, the original old version of bugs bunny was filled with PG13 stuff.

Well that's the best reply ever! We play neopets and to worry if cartoons are for older ages too lol. But yeah I'm still sticking to my last statement but the more I think about it if neopets is for all ages why not cartoons they have been around longer and im pretty sure an "older aged" person created the first cartoon :)

Why would it be a problem? I know there are plenty of cartoons put out there for adults. For example, Family Guy, South Park, the Simpsons.

I must admit, when I had cable at school, I'd find myself watching batman every so often. Hey, batman is the shit! There's no age limit for him!

Well, there are definitely childrens cartoons, like most of the ones on Nickelodeon (although a couple of their shows have episodes that aren't that bad).

But saying you've outgrown cartoons is a direct insult to Matt Groening :). You can never outgrow The Simpsons!

its shouldnt be a problem, lol growing up and and getting older are two different things people who are old at heart our boring and and no fun, ive seen 15 year old who act 45 and GOD ARE THEY BORING!! then youve got the other end who could be 45 and act like there 19 and they enjoy life, so its really a choice lol

My girlfriend loves to watch Nick at Night while we fall asleep, so I have been waking up to Dora the Explorer most mornings and I usually watch it will I'm half-awake.

Who cares really. I watch a lot of things that are considered to be appropriate for "children" but I don't care either way.
If you like it, go for it!
