Yesterday, my wife offered to take our cat to play in the dog park. She's an idiot.

Have yo uever noticed cat's have feminane names? eg.

"Spike! Get over here! Get over here Spike!"
    "Killer! Come! Killer! Killer!"

    "YourMagesty! Come here! YourMagesty!"
    "Bullet!"
    "Princess! Come here Princess!"

Yes, I have noticed this. I've also noticed that even cats who are not shown are normally given longer names then most dogs.
    An example:
Sir Edward Beaumont of Ruffs 'N Tuffs (real cat; belonged to my ex's mother)
    nickname: Beau

-blink- I think it goes way back to Ancient Egypt when felines were worshipped.

Yeah cats usually do have more feminine names than dogs (well from what I've noticed anyway), eg:
my cat is a girl and is named Emerald
my dog is also a girl and is named Rusty

    :)
