These shit are going to release the next year ,
for the sake of boosting Taiwan's "famishing" economy.

    My comment :
    What a waste.
This will make all of us get into more debt ever :(

    中華民國:
Republic of china(ROC), which means Taiwan
    ----------------------
    振興經濟消費券:

These certificates are aiming to boost economy
    (by increasing spending)
    ----------------
    伍佰圓:
    the face value= TWD 500(about USD 15)
    貮佰圓:
    the face value= TWD 200(about USD 6)

Each individual in Taiwan(yes, including the newborn and the 100+ yr )
will be able to receive total value 3600 of these certificates

    ---------------

    Significance:

Not much actually, waste of money.

Almost every politician in Taiwan will do anything
to attract more people to vote for him/her.

This policy is once again pointless & possibly will only make things worse

I hear the politics in Taiwan are pretty nuts.
Like the ones which burst into fights and stuff?
    Is that true?

Is there much gangs and corruption there?

    Quite true.

As for the ones who burst into fights and stuff,
yes, most of these insanity are stirred up by the commissioners of "The Legistative Yuan of Republic of China"
but some of the leaders at political parties are really good at fanning the flames of such violence.

Corruption here is far more than you can imagine
(maybe it's not their fault; it's kind of genetic disorder?)
If you are interested in some examples, please google "Chen Shui-bian corruption"

P.S. This Chen S.B. is our former President

This is just gonna lead to inflation, i'd assume this is pretty much equivalent to printing money and just naming it something else.
