CGers?

So everyone thinks Cgers are back. Is that true? or was keenan just playin a prank. If they were back is there a way of knowing what site/person is responsible?

I've been hearing alot about it on the boards. So I would say its better to assume so than not..

 

Ya I have heard lots about them too. I would say avoid shop snipes and avoid newbie-1 week accounts.

 

Not just shops, avoid going on lookups and petpages, and double check links to ensure they are for neopets only.

Hm, I took a looonnnggg break from neo. CGers can be on lookups, petpages, and shops? I remember (from way way way back), you could only be CGed if you visited an external non-neopets site. If that's true, it makes everything so much more dangerous. :|

 

yea Keenen from the AC was frozen and neomails were sent to people and those people were frozen... everyone was scared.


I changed my pw, pin, email cleared my cache cookies etc after words just to be safe.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you will be CGed if and only if you visited an fake Neopets webpage, Neopets scammer page or clicked some malicious links. It is quite impossible to be CGed in Neopets main sites.

 

Nope, the last couple times CG threats have been a problem, people were finding ways to incorporate them into lookups and what not. And I'm pretty sure alot succeeded because they got passed filters.
