    Another sprouted from sheer bordom

    one of my favorie flowers

yes I go through graphic spurts. So expect a few more over the next week.

I am planning on applying for the graphics award soon :D So I need to make some more material

so if anyone has any requests for a few images just for fun. I would like to do a few.

Mostly I like to do things in nature and sort of...make them look...immortalized... sort of.. I don't know how to describe it... But things of this sort I will be happy to do :D.

By the way.... I would like to make this picture into a blown up framed picture for my bathroom.... does anyone have any idea how I can do that...

My guess is that it would look horrible blown up... But If I brought it to say... kits cameras or something like that...you think they would make it look good?

    Edit:

Wanted to add this in. I didnt mess with the picture too much just the contrast and brightness.. BUT I LOVE THE FLOWER! The coloration in it is so crazy. By the way. I took this picture myself :D Brooklyn Botanical gardens in NY state!!

It looks really great. Nice touch with the kanji. If you want it blown up without looking too pixellated...uhh....depends on how good the quality of the camera was, and how many megapixels it can take. You could try visiting a photo shop, they might be able to help you.

Go to a printing store, blow it up and print it on glossy paper. Use a simple frame, or none at all. It'll look best with no frame, if you stick it on a half inch thick piece of white plastic or wood cut and fitted to your picture.:)

gorgeous picture! i love the colors. :) did you take the image (cherry blossoms) yourself?

as far as printing it out goes... i've usually had pretty good luck with kinko's. as long as the images are fairly high-res, they can print it out on this huge machine behind the counter (in the store by my house, anyway) and it comes out on glossy paper, looking real nice. i did the cover for my chapbook on it and it looked very professional.

    good luck!

    thank you!

I brought it to kits cameras on my flash drive and they printed it out beautifully! I got it to be 12 by 18.

No unfortunatlly I did not take the cherry blossom picture myself :( lol I wish! I only took the orchid picture.

But come spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom ;) I will be out there with my nice new camera!

oh definitely. i'd love to see how it turned out, too! i think your picture would look pretty sleek in a simple, black frame.

whenever you start getting out there with your new camera, you should think about doing stock or put your pictures up (if you aren't already) on deviantart. i'll bet a lot of people would love your work. :)
