I'm sure we've all heard about these recent heart-breaking events. If you haven't, please please please google it or look it up.

The death tolls are still climbing, but last I knew it is 32,000+ in China and a staggering 68,000+ in Myanmar.

I know many of us are able to donate through PayPal, if not through credit cards, banks, companies, etc.

I'm asking, pleading, that you donate any amount, however small, to one or hopefully both causes.

China (all possible donation ways): http://www.ifgogo.com/80/how-to-donate/
China (PayPal donation link, not linked on above page): http://tsinghua.net/events/20080512/Don ... 80512.html
    Myanmar(credit card): http://www.google.com/myanmarcyclone/
    MyanMar(paypal): http://www.thepaypalblog.com/weblog/200 ... elief.html

    Thank you.

It's terrible. I was just watching a show last night saying how all these massive disasters are due anytime now and then they happen. It's a repeating cycle of disasters, this happens years and years ago.

Im going to donate after i buy a prepayed credit card. You know what's really sad? in English class my teacher asked if anybody knew what was going on in china, and only 3 people raised their hands. 2 including me.
Did anybody see the videos of earthquake?

man those videos of the earthquake were indeed scary. imagine being there yourself, so much sorrow and agony i really feel bad for these people knowing that they are going to need food, shelter , and water asap ... thats why my neighborhood is going to raise money to help these people.

You can ask your parents or relatives

Its really sad, and during the year of the olympics too. I really hope China pulls out of this tragedy as quickly as possible and gets back on track. And the cyclone was also very heart-breaking, especially the number deaths.

Surprisingly, I find the eathquake more hearbreaking. Partly because it's more covered by the media, but mostly because it's horrifying that so much damage could be caused in just a few minutes.

I've not donated cash, but donated basic necessities such as food to the victims. I hope it helps:/
