So Civilization was released yesterday, and some people were complaining that it is too simplified??? Perhaps I should wait for an expansion pack or mods before buying.
Where in the world did you here that it was simplified? Making the interface more user friendly is not the same as simplified. The only thing that was made simpler was religion (not part of the game anymore).
Seems to be one of the first comments of civilization V there. Gamespot or IGN, or have a place, however, Metacritic and shows only two. It seems that the exhaust coming in the game media in the world.
Some people were complaining on forums, but of course, I haven't played the game yet so I have no opinion of whether these complaints are justified.
I have played it, enjoyed it. but nothing to thrilling. It is easier to manage. The animations are cool. You need to update it as there are lots of bugs in the game. I guess I was looking for somthing new in the game, it seems like its the same as all the others just with better graphics and a few touch ups. Its almost as if the game needs to change into somthing new. Conclusion: its worth buying it and its fun to play was expecting more since i have played all the civ games before. CIV the original one is in my eyes the all time best, probably because it was one of the first games i got hooked on. somthing i miss from the very first one was the ablity to build your castel. I loved mixing up styles.
I think the AI cheats all the dam time. And there are so many bugs in this game, even with the first update its still very buggy. lost a unit going onto water... nothing was around it if you scroll using the map you get an overlay of the ground. Once time I got a piece treaty with the french and couldnt brake it, even after the 45 turns I could not attack them for the rest of the game. I cant think of the other glitches right now but there are more of them The more i play it, the agnryer i get. There are so many parts of it, where i look at it and wonder why they didnt fix that bit or make it better.
