In this thread I'll be posting pictures that I have taken and edited.
I would appreciate any comments and advice :)

They're rather large, so I will be posting links.

    1. NYC, 56th street

    2. New Jersey, sunset from balcony
This is a panorama made with around 15 photos.

    3. NYC, buildings

    4. Massachusetts, bridge
    Original

    5. Massachusetts, water tower
This is a panorama made with 40 photos. It looks a bit off, but I enjoyed making it ;)

    6. Massachusetts, warehouse
    Original

    7. Fireworks :p
    1
    2
    3

    8. Massachusetts, road
    Original

I love the first one, the colors really stand out and the overall quality is outstanding!
It turns a view that wouldn't normally be one of great interest, and adds a new outlook on it.
Not sure if this is what you're after, but hey, the arts affect everybody differently!

    Well done :)

Very good job, the first one makes me wanna go there right now :p
Hey, maybe you can post the original vs. the one you edited. That would show exactly how much work you did ;)
The second one is a little small, makes me want a bigger picture like the first one. Still really beautiful pic...

Colors are nice, but it could use a bit more focus. I like the buildings + graffiti one, although I do think that you need a focal point in there (person/pigeon/random item/etc). Keep up the good work :D.

    @ Rexx: Thank you :)
@ light: i'll upload the originals soon. the second one is an odd size because it's a panorama (many pictures, not just one). I have bigger sizes, but they are the same dimensions =/
@ Winged: I'll keep that in mind for future pictures. Not much I can do now about it =P. Also, what do I do if there is no person or pigeon? =O

    Another pic is up.

    Nice nice
For the second one, I think it would look nicer if you had more of the trees showing (so a larger silhouette)

I think they are really nice. The grafitti one has nice detail :3 And I agree with the comment about doing the original one vs. the edited one.

Yes, I completely agree. Once again, not something I can change on that particular shot, but I will keep that in mind next time I'm making a panoramic sky :)

Wow. Really, I'm typeless :D haha. The first one is magnificent. Great area to photograph, showing the real side of that part of NYC. The editing? Phenomenal, really. The second one. I LOVE the color of that sky, it's great and i like the photo, but showing more of the trees would be a good idea, as said by the other 2 people :) The third one was great, it reminded me of RENT :] Haha

Thank you for understanding that! 56th street in Manhattan is a really nice area, but in between a few sky scrapers was that, and so I took a picture.

I just realized how the sky reflects off the windows on the 3rd pic =O

Your photography is amazing. I am really jealous, its clear where you live has some really nice aspects to it (the crazy graphitti for example). Where I live there is simply rocks and trees.

Fabulous really. The first photograph is just.. wow.. Speechless really!

I really love the second one. The angle you've taken it at is great. It reminds me of lying on the grass looking up at the sky after a few too many glasses of wine - in a good way! It's just got this sort of crazy perspective that makes me feel like it's almost spinning.

    I sound mental.

    4. Montana, logs - I like your liquor hiding place! :)

I like most of your photos, although the skyline is a bit generic. I'm really digging the graffiti wall though

Ok no more comments on that one now XD
It was my first sky picture, and I'll find something to make new ones more interesting :p
    Thanks though =]

o_o did you photomanip on the 4th pic?

Well the thing is, if you can't find a focus you'll have to zoom in on things/go from different angle's. A straight on shot is nice sometimes, but the really good pictures come from interesting angle's or the right kind of focus. Keep shooting though :D!

and for the second picture, i like how you use the pipe as a leading line and making travel across the whole frame

It's amazing what you can do to pictures, isn't it?
They're really good, a few of them made me want to use them for roleplays and such, but I'm too lazy to ask permission and actually do it.
Some though, I couldn't tell what you did if you did anything at all, though. XD

Some I didn't do much at all >,<
I took the pictures though, so it's still 100% my work.
Because of requests, I am putting up more of the originals so you can see the difference.
Are there any you liked in particular? =|
