Hey! I was just wondering if I could get some feedback on a fanart request I finally finished a while ago. Feel free to comment and critisize. Oh- and I'm also taking requests right now (not limited to neopets fanart), but please allow up to two weeks for me to finish (I really need to invest in a tablet- is currently working with a crappy mouse and scanner.) I haven't decided if I'm going to charge or not, I'll wait till I get more requests to decide. I know you're all nice people- but just a reminder to please not steal.
Wow very nice. Only thing I'd say is that there are quite a few white spaces on the neopet, fill those in. Other than that, good work, love the shading/shadows on the pet.
I really do love this. First off, UC Darigan Zafaras are my favorite pet and I think you did a wonderful job portraying this. Shading and color is really great. I'll agree with scorpio. Especially around the gray section of the wings. I have to say, there's something... funny about the placement of the arms. After minutes of internal debate, I've come to this conclusion - The arms are too long. The top portion is awkward to me. Its left arm also looks semi broken. The bend in its arm sets the lower arm too far back IMO. Once again, I love the shading. If you can do this with a mouse and scanner, I'd love to see what happens with a tablet. ^ I call that a compliment sandwich.
You should be very very proud, Rhett doesn't give many compliment sandwiches. And I must say, very well done. I don't know why, but I like the fact that he/she's perched on something ^.^ As said from others, nice shading. I'd like it better if perhaps the arms were doing something? Crossed, clasped hands? I don't know.
I thought about both crossed and clasped, but crossed would look like he's in a gang and clasped would make him look like a cheesy evil mastermind. Oh, and by the way - I've decided that he is a he. All this gender confusion was making him doubt himself.
