I am interested in like..fixing/building/working with computers and stuff, I am just wondering, if I did go into Computing Science, what sorta career can it get me? Like I know programming, and all those general stuff...but I don't know if it's a promising career :/

Anyone know anything about computing sci? ><

To be honest, I wouldn't go into strictly computer science. A lot of programming/tech help/etc work is out-sourced to foreign countries like India/China so the job market isn't really promising.

You could go into computer engineering if you're into making hardware and that kinda stuff. Electrical engineering also falls under that category. Alternatively, you could major in statistics and do statistical programming. That's usually a pretty solid field with good pay and only requires a master's degree in statistics (which I heard is really easy to get).

Computer Science would mean you would be doing something like Chuck, from the hit series Chuck.

Do some form of engineering if you want to go anywhere with computers - virtually all engineering forms use computers.. but, since you're looking at design, as Zer0 said, a lot of that is electrical engineering.

Hell, mechatronic engineering or whatever it's called would be awesome - building like computer robot things.
